What Chesi does not keep

Chesi does not record your meetings. No audio or video is saved, on your Mac or on our server.

What happens on your Mac

Speech is turned into text on your Mac. When you use Read screen, the screen is read on your Mac too.

What is sent to make an answer

To write an answer, the text of the question and a little context (for example the recent conversation, your CV and job description in interview mode, or the text Chesi read from your screen) is sent over an encrypted connection to our server. Our server passes it to an AI service that writes the answer and sends the answer back. We do not save the question or the answer on our server.

What we do keep

• Your account: your name, email, phone number (if you gave it) and your password, which is stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form we cannot read.
• Your license keys and the plans you bought.
• How much of your plan you have used (a running count, not the content).
• Your free demo key, so each account gets one demo.

Payments

Payments are handled by our payment partner (Instamojo or Razorpay). We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. We keep the payment ID, the plan and the amount.

Your choices

Write to us to see or delete the details we keep about you. We do not sell your data.
